Muhammad Saw as Uswatun Khasanah and
Model of Perfect Personality

Every
social group have (has) a leader to direct its goal. Human makes group and create the social system
like family, organization, and ethnic
group. In the past, leader determined a
social group to reach purpose. But, if he has bad personality, he will make it
doing mistake and destroy.
In
Islamic, every person is leader because it doesn’t only lead a society or someone
but lead his soul, behavior and heart. From his heart will appear his action
and behavior. Rasulullah saw said every work and action are depend from
intention. In the world has the different system determined by leader (
president or king ) with a program to manage his country. For example : South
Korea with the draftee program and the Islamic law ( syariah ) in Saudi Arabia
and Malaysia.
Leader
must be able to make prosperity and safety for society or leader is always
responsibility for his action. Society doesn’t need wisdom words from leader,
but only leader’s action needed. Such as, save relationship between
brotherhood, leader with society are working together and help each other.
Usually,
a leader wants to show his capability in leading his group or has more power to
manage everyone so thay can follow his command. Leader like Imam prayed
together ( sholat jama’ah ). when Imam was doing sujud on the floor, congregation
also followed it. Certainly, society can be obedient or society can refuse a
order from leader.
Individual’s
person with kinds of characteristic can cope all problems. In democratic, leader
system makes decision and plan with his group and accept opinion from his
member’s group. We called musyawarah. Then, leader takes opinion’s majority as
decision and he must appreciate other opinion.
Like
on the Alqu’an Surah Al baqarah ayat 30: “And
(mention, O Muhammad), when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will
make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You
place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we
declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know
that which you do not know."
ALLAH SWT creates human with mind and hearth for
giving love, care, and peacefulness. As khalifah in the world, leaders of islam
should give secure and confident for other muslim or non muslim everywhere,
everytime and everyday. The best man is someone which can give advantage and
positive influence to all person like coconut tree. Every person gets many benefit,
enjoy and safety with him.
So,
leadership need capability to influence other people, but we must appreciate
opinion or their action. ALLAH command to His muslim society for become good
leader that are keeping brotherhood in the world, interdependent another people
and use to good advantages.
Leadership
in perspective islam also emphasize a muslim to follow behaviour’s prophet
Muhammad SAW. Because He is model of perfect human in the world ( Al Ahzab : 21
). In the Makkah and Madinah period[1],
people was looked prophet Muhammad as a good man and upright man. And in
history, he is a moral reformer and social. Many things must to say fairly and
honestly about Muhammad when He compared with Arabian people in his period. But
then, people muslim explain that he is a person become model ( uswatun hasanah
) to all mankind.
In
do that its (dalam melakukan hal itu), they show figure of Muhammad in doing to
evaluate according opinion standard of the world was bright. Although, this
world more united, this far there is less of interest to Muhammad as Model of
Moral. But, because total of people’s muslim very many, quickly or slowly must
to considered seriously whether inside life and teach of Muhammad there are
principles can studied and can gave contribution to moral mankind
development.
When
Rasulullah become a leader in madinah ( city of prophet ), he was use Alqur’an (saying
of God) as solution or problem solving. Rasulullah always use word honor and
negotiation more than war and violence with his enemy.
Several
Time in madinah city, Rasulullah SAW[2] has
made peace between people aus and people Kazraj after they have been war and
hostile for several years ago. Manage to people muslim with all ways that are
unite people muhajirin with people anshor As leader, Prophet Muhammad SAW also build Mosque as place for praise name of ALLAH and
center of Islamic dakwah activities . He
participations by his hand dig and build mosque as well as to manage dakwah
group and jihad in street ALLAH.
If
prophet Muhammad[3]
not self appointed as ruler of Arabia, he has done to effort very extraordinary
in to unite Arabian people. By means of al Quran with Arabian language and
religion system and politic his created. Until now, he has development
implicitly conscious to Arabian people about themselves as nation of ethnic and
culture. For this nation Al quran with Arabian language purpose to its, and that
different them from people’s habasyah, bizantium, Persian and jewish. Arabian
people in that time certainly to think that system as totality and can’t
differentiate aspects of economic, politic and religious. Important for them is
they want enter to that system or stay there outside.
And
what is more, leadership in perspective islam always give priority to public
interest (maslahah for ummah ), and
justice to give punishment. A good leader usually loved society and
clever. Many Rasulullah’ friends have good personality and become great leader
successfully. Like : Khulafaur Rasyidin, Amr bin ash, Khalid bin Walid and
other friends.
At
the past, islam was spread and development from Andalusia, Spain until Bukhara,
South Rusia. The leaders of islam was use smart strategy and believe to the ALLAH
SWT that Light of Islam want to change the world be more better. Khalifah (
name of leader in islam ) not only manage about worldly, but also about
hereafter. For example : be a imam when praying together, give a punishment to
criminal and other spiritual practices. .
When,
there are advantages[4]
and disadvantages, so that ALLAH loves mukmin people which take advantages and
to follow way of life a good person. Human always need a ideal model have good
personality after they are getting brightness.
